Who We Are
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Wuqing, Tianjin, Tianjin Hi-Perferal Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (“Hipfer”) is a Chinese National High-Tech Enterprise specializing in the research, development, production and sales of fine chemicals.
The company reports total assets of approximately RMB 224 million and a team of approximately 150 employees. Our products and technical solutions serve customers in more than 30 countries.
Hipfer combines chemical expertise with reliable manufacturing and application-oriented technical support. Our goal is not simply to supply additives, but to help customers select, evaluate and apply materials effectively within their own formulations and processes.
Two Sites, One Quality Standard
Hipfer operates production and R&D activities through sites in Tianjin and Panjin, Liaoning.
The Tianjin headquarters supports research and development, application testing and the production of selected waterborne additives and corrosion-inhibition products.
Our wholly owned subsidiary, Liaoning Surfychem Co., Ltd., operates the Panjin production base. The site uses automated production systems and digital manufacturing technologies to support consistent production, batch control and product traceability.

Across both sites, we focus on:
- Consistent raw-material and process control;
- Batch-to-batch product consistency;
- Production traceability;
- Application-oriented product development;
- Quality documentation and technical support.
Two Brands, Complementary Application Fields
Hipfer serves customers through two complementary brands.
Toynol® — Functional Surfactants and Waterborne Additives
Toynol® products are designed for wetting, foam control, defoaming, dispersion and leveling in waterborne and other industrial formulations.
- Acetylenic diol surfactants;
- Wetting and substrate-wetting agents;
- Wetting and dispersing agents;
- Molecular, polyether and silicone defoamers;
- Waterborne dispersants;
- Leveling and flow-control additives.
Toynol® products are used in applications including coatings, inks, adhesives, electronic chemicals, photovoltaic materials and other waterborne formulations.
Vanconol® — Corrosion Inhibitors and Oilfield Additives
Vanconol® focuses on corrosion protection and oilfield chemical solutions. The portfolio covers gathering and transportation systems, acidizing operations, refinery overhead protection, high-temperature corrosion inhibition, metal and alloy corrosion protection, and selected enhanced-oil-recovery applications.
Product selection depends on the metal substrate, operating temperature, fluid composition, salinity, pH, process conditions and required protection period.
Research, Development and Application Support

Our independent R&D center is equipped with analytical and application-testing instruments, including GC-MS, liquid and gas chromatography, and a Krüss BP100 dynamic surface-tension instrument.
These capabilities support work across:
- Surfactant molecular design;
- Dispersant development;
- Defoamer and foam-control evaluation;
- Dynamic and static wetting analysis;
- Formulation optimization;
- Process development;
- Application testing.
We work with customers to move from an initial formulation challenge to a practical evaluation plan. Depending on the application, technical cooperation may include product screening, dosage evaluation, compatibility testing, foam-control assessment, storage-stability testing and application guidance.
Specific technical data should be evaluated under defined test conditions and within the customer’s actual formulation system.
Quality, Compliance and Sustainability
Hipfer maintains management systems certified to:
- ISO 9001 — Quality Management;
- ISO 14001 — Environmental Management;
- ISO 45001 — Occupational Health and Safety.
We manage quality from raw-material sourcing and production through finished-product inspection and shipment.
Our product-development priorities include:
- APEO-free solutions where appropriate;
- Low-VOC formulation options;
- Non-silicone alternatives for selected applications;
- Improved formulation efficiency;
- Reduced defects and rework;
- More responsible use of raw materials.
Technical documentation, including TDS, SDS and COA, can be provided according to the product and customer requirements. Regulatory and compliance information should be confirmed for the specific product and destination market.

Your Application Partner
The right additive depends on more than the product category. Compatibility, dosage, processing conditions and the interaction between ingredients can all affect the final result.
If you are experiencing problems such as poor wetting, cratering, pinholes, excessive foam, color development, flooding and floating, settling, corrosion or poor storage stability, our application specialists can help define a practical evaluation path.
