HP-POL MA Methoxy Polyethylene Glycol (Meth)acrylate

HP-POL MA Methoxy Polyethylene Glycol (Meth)acrylate

Abstract

HP-POL MA is methoxy polyethylene glycol (meth)acrylate, a functional monomer for the superplasticizer, coating dispersant and polymer modification industries. The molecule contains unsaturated double bonds that can participate in free-radical polymerization. Combining the hydrophilicity and flexibility of the polyethylene glycol (PEG) segment with the high reactivity of the (meth)acrylate group, it is a key monomer for synthesizing high-performance polycarboxylate superplasticizers and polymer dispersants.

Main Application Fields

  • High-performance polycarboxylate superplasticizer (PCE): As a core functional monomer, participates in copolymerization to synthesize comb-structured polycarboxylate superplasticizers.
  • Coating and ink dispersants: As a key intermediate or comonomer for synthesizing polymer dispersants, improving pigment wetting, reducing grinding viscosity and enhancing storage stability.
  • Polymer modification: As a functional monomer for modifying UV-curable coatings, inks, adhesives and other systems.
