Application Areas Steel pickling: During cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel production, an iron oxide scale (rust) forms on the surface, which must be removed by pickling with hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. The pickling corrosion inhibitor effectively protects the base iron from excessive dissolution, reducing metal loss and improving steel surface quality.It can also be used in the surface pickling treatment of seamless steel pipes and welded pipes prior to further processing. Component surface treatment: Before electroplating, coating, welding and other processes, metal parts require pickling for rust removal. The corrosion inhibitor helps ensure dimensional accuracy and surface integrity of the parts. Castings cleaning: Used for removing residual molding sand and oxide scale from casting surfaces. Industrial rust removal and maintenance: Used when pickling rusted rebar during building maintenance or precast component production to protect rebar strength.Additionally, large steel structures often require chemical rust removal before coating, where the corrosion inhibitor helps control corrosion depth. |

Handling Recommendations Wear appropriate personal protective equipment before use; For preparation, add directly to the pickling tank and stir until uniformly dissolved; Add at0.3–1% by volume of the acid solution; the optimum dosage should be determined through dose-response screening; Neutralize waste liquid to apH of approximately6–9 before discharge. |
