Abstract

Toynol® PCS-87 is a high-performance surfactant combination developed to address insufficient wetting in high-speed printing of printing chemicals such as alcohol-free fountain solutions, waterborne inks and waterborne varnishes. It significantly reduces static and dynamic surface tension (static surface tension as low as 37.1 mN/m in a 0.1% aqueous solution), provides excellent low-foam performance (foam fully dissipated within 300 seconds within 300 seconds), and delivers an outstanding balance of printability. Compared with conventional solutions, it is APEO-free and offers good compatibility with inks, making it a suitable option for improving the quality and stability of high-speed printing.
